The paths that lead from Brenzone sul Garda onto the summit of the mount Baldo are numerous and can be quite difficult. The below listed path are for different levels, it is only a selection. You can contact the Information Office in Brenzone sul Garda to have detailed maps of our area.
The office is open every day, from April to October 15th, from 9.30 am to 6.30 pm.
- Easy route – approx 3,7km – Duration 1. hours two-way-trip
Departure from Porto. Take the mule track on the opposite site of the Gardesana road in front of the capital that leads to Castello. In Castello take the asphalt road direction Zignano, at the first loop, take the first path on your left leading to Pozzo. There, cross the road and take the road directly in front of you that leads down to Assenza. Return to Porto b walking alongside the lake. - Moderately difficult route – approx 7km – Duration 2 hours two-way-trip
Departure from Marniga. Starting from the little square, take the gravel road that starts after the vault of San Rocco’s capital. After approximately 1 km you will arrive in Campo. From there, take the road situated above the fountain until you arrive to Biaza (approx.2.5km). From Biaza descend to Castelletto and then return to Marniga walking alongside the lake. - Difficult route –approx 6.3 km – Duration 3.5 hours two-way-trip (900 m a.s.l.)
From the car park where the bank Unicredit is situated, cross the Gardesana street and turn into the asphalt road that leads, alongside the ‚Pont de la Val‘, to the Piazzetta Oliva. Continue straight ahead under the vault staying on your right sight, pass the small church of Sant’Antonio delle Pontare. Continue straight ahead after the gate, staying on your left side, cross the street and continue straight ahead on the gravel road that turns right. Follow the steep path leading to the village of Le Cà until you reach the small church San Bartolomeo in Prada, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view onto the lake.
