Mushroom picking in the territory of the mountain municipality of Monte Baldo, made up of several lakeside and inland municipalities, is governed by the Veneto regional laws and the executive regulations of the Verona Regional Council. The mushroom picking permit can be purchased for daily, weekly or monthly periods from the local municipality. This permit is valid throughout the territory of all the mountain municipalities of Monte Baldo.

The holders of this collection permit can collect the mushrooms on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays and on all weekday holidays. Locals can collect any day of the week. Landowners, usufructuaries, tenants and their family members are not subject to collection day restrictions.
The maximum amount per person per day is 3 kg, of which no more than 1 kg for each type of mushroom expressly indicated in the regional law.
